At TOMI SA were falling behind with the installation of a 1800m2 point fixing glass canopy with the key milestone data fast approaching.
There were some major challenges to be addressed:
- A time schedule suppressed to one month instead of three.
- A design that incorporated vitually no tolerance.
- An unfinished metal construction with unexpected mistolerances.
- A complicated installation involving the invention of machienery.

Yalodomi was employed to finish the disign, production and installation in a very short time. We started with an unfinished metal construction preparing fabrication drawings for 950 silkscreened tempered laminated glass panes with a total number of 3800 diferent holes. Yalodomi surveyors completed a full survey and post cut to size. The installation involved the design and construction of specilized machinery. 1500 stainless steel AISI 316 spiders along with 3600 routels were fixed in prespecified positions on order to accomodate. 115 Tonnes of glass in just 25 days. The involvement of Yalodomi enabled TOMI to coplete the 1800m2 canopy on time and achieve all key handover dates. TOMI’s management were no impressed with Yalodomi we are now one of their prefered subconstuctors.
